FEMA Eligible Repairs, Filmore Quadrant 2

The FEMA-Funded Recovery Roads Program is a comprehensive recovery strategy to repair Hurricane Katrina related damages on and beneath city managed streets throughout New Orleans. The New Orleans Department of Public Works (DPW) is responsible for maintaining approximately 1,547 miles of roadway (21,000,000 square yards of pavement), 149 bridges, 85,500 catch basins and 8,200,000 linear feet of drainage lines in the City of New Orleans.
Trigon is a subconsultant on this project for professional design and construction administration service for FEMA-eligible repairs on assigned streets within the Filmore neighborhood (Quadrants 2) which includes multiple construction repair projects with a total estimated value of approximately $8.2 million for roadway improvements.
The scoping phase was completed and the Project Scope Report was submitted to the Department of Public Works (DPW) for approval.
