West Bank/Gaza Mission

  • Location: West Bank, Palestine
  • Completed: Ongoing
  • Trigon is a primary subconsultant on this $750M+ infrastructure program in the West Bank to design and construct numerous projects related primarily to wastewater, water, and transportation infrastructure. Trigon is involved in all phases of the program, including overall program setup & mobilization, ongoing program management, design and construction management. Trigon has also recently performed design and/or environmental permitting for 10 wastewater treatment plants and the associated sewage collection systems located throughout the West Bank.

In addition to the overall program management services, Trigon is providing other services on individual projects under the program:

    • Al Yamoun and Qabatia Wastewater Treatment Plant and Collection Systems. Trigon provided engineering, design, environmental assessment and permitting efforts associated with the design of two new wastewater treatment plants and associated sewage collection systems. The WWTPs will have capacities of approximately 5 and 7 MGD, respectively. Primary process units designed by Trigon include influent pump station, headworks, grit removal and classification, chlorine contact basins and effluent disc filters.
    • Roads Design Manual. Trigon is providing support to the Mission on the review and development of standard guidelines for the design and construction of roads throughout the West Bank. Over the next few years, a significant amount of road work is anticipated to go through design and construction.
    • Dura Cluster Water Storage and Distribution System. Trigon is currently providing construction management and inspection services for this project. Project includes:
      • Installation of 12 kilometers of new 400 mm steel water transmission pipelines from Dura.
      • Construction of approximately 34 km of distribution networks for villages in the Kharsa area.

      • Construction of approximately 48 km of distribution networks for villages in the Surra area.
      • Construction of a new 500 cubic meter elevated reinforced concrete water reservoir.
      • Construction of a new 3,000 cubic meter on ground reinforced concrete water reservoir.
      • Construction of approximately ten km of distribution networks for villages in the Kurza area.
