Trigon Names Michelle Herbert As Chief Executive Officer

Today, Trigon Associates, Inc. (Trigon) a leading woman-owned engineering and consulting firm specializing in Capital Improvement Projects, Disaster Recovery, and International Development, today announced that Michelle Herbert has been named as the Chief Executive Officer.

Ms. Herbert is one of Trigon’s four founding members and has been a managing partner, along with former Chief Executive Officer Lisa F. Cookmeyer. Ms. Cookmeyer will continue to serve in leadership capacity where she will focus on special strategic assignments and company-wide growth initiatives.

“Although I have been immensely involved in the day-to-day operations of Trigon since its inception, it is a great pleasure to now step into the role of CEO,” said Ms. Herbert. “Trigon has significantly expanded its portfolio and reach over the years and I look forward to working with our highly qualified team to continue that growth while adhering to Trigon’s guiding principles of Quality, Commitment and Client Service.”

Ms. Herbert has over 25 years of experience in the engineering industry, including project and program management for Capital Improvement Projects, Disaster Recovery, Hazard Mitigation, and International Development. Since Trigon’s inception, Ms. Herbert has played a key role in the planning, development, implementation and direction of the organization’s operational and fiscal function and performance, making her imminently qualified to lead Trigon into this next chapter.
