Greg UT awardNew Orleans, LA – November 04, 2015 – Greg Kolenovsky, PE, PMP, PgMP; Vice President of Trigon Associates, LLC (Trigon), was named by the University of Texas at Austin, Cockrell School of Engineering,  Department of Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering as the 2015 Outstanding Young Alumnus. He graduated from the University of Texas in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. In 2009, Mr. Kolenovsky co-founded Trigon, a successful New Orleans-based engineering consulting firm, where he is actively involved with many aspects of the business but primarily oversees project delivery and business development activities. Over the past six (6) years, the company has quickly grown and was recognized in 2013 and 2014 as a Best Firm to Work For among multidiscipline A/E services firms, competing against both large and small firms. Similarly, Trigon was recognized as a Best Places to Work in New Orleans for three (3) years in a row. Trigon was also recently named as one of America’s Fastest-Growing Private Companies by Inc. magazine.

In addition to his professional experience, which has focused on municipal infrastructure such as water, wastewater, drainage, and roads, as well as disaster recovery and hazard mitigation projects in the US, the Middle East and Haiti, Mr. Kolenovsky also enjoys teaching children about engineering by providing presentations and hands-on demonstrations at schools. He also frequently mentors civil and environmental engineering college students. He is also active in many professional organizations and has received numerous awards for community service activities.
