South Shore Basin Rehabilitation Design

Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans

  • New Orleans, Louisiana
  • Completion: Ongoing

As part of a large sewer program being performed by the Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans, this work consists of the design of multiple projects for the rehabilitation of sewer facilities in the South Shore Basin of New Orleans.

The rehabilitation measures being designed are intended to restore structural integrity and eliminate significant sources of infiltration/inflow and include manhole rehabilitation (e.g., frame and cover replacements, horizontal and vertical adjustments, internal lining of manhole walls) and gravity sewer line rehabilitation for small and large-diameter sewers (e.g., excavated point repairs, full line replacements, cured-in-place pipe lining, sliplining, pipe bursting, service lateral replacements).

It is anticipated that approximately $15M of rehabilitation construction will result.
